BLS course is designed for healthcare providers in and out of hospital employees. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years.

With this two part option, most of your training is completed online at home. Then you stop in for a short skills testing session. There is a smaller class size and you spend less time in a classroom.
There is a separate fee paid directly to AHA at: HeartCode® BLS | AHA

You must send us your completed certificate after completion in order to attend your skills check-off session. This session is 45-60 minutes in length.

Heartsaver® CPR AED Online | AHA

The Heartsaver courses are designed to prepare students to provide First Aid, CPR, and use an AED in a safe, timely, and effective manner. These are courses for students with limited or no medical training who need a course completion card for job, regulatory or other requirements or for anyone who wants to learn basic CPR and obtain a Heartsaver course completion card. The courses are classroom-based and video based.

First Aid instruction includes bandaging, bleeding, wounds, choking, shock, seizure, fainting, broken bones, poison, and temperature related conditions, to name a few. Includes CPR/Choking training for adults only.

The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED course trains participants how to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) and the 2015 AHA Guidelines for First Aid.

Who should take this course?
The AHA Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone involved in childcare who have a duty to respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Including: childcare workers, teachers, camp counselors, etc
What does this course teach?
First aid basics including medical, injury, poison, and environmental emergencies, preventing illnesses and injuries and controlling bleeding & bandaging. Covers topics like using a tourniquet, shock, internal bleeding, burns and electrical injuries, allergic reactions, breathing problems & dehydration, diabetes & low blood sugar, heat-and cold-related emergencies, drowning, amputations, bites and stings, broken bones and sprains. Also covers splinters, nose bleeds, fainting, seizures, and injuries to the head, eyes, neck, spine, mouth, and teeth.

The American Heart Association (AHA) Family and Friends CPR Course is specifically designed for people who are not healthcare professionals but want to learn basic life-saving skills. The course typically covers the following key elements:

Participants learn how to perform chest compressions for adults in the absence of rescue breaths.

The Heartsaver for K-12 Schools course may be provided to K-12 school students, faculty, and staff who successfully complete an AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED, Heartsaver CPR AED, or Heartsaver First Aid Course in K-12 schools. “Faculty” refers to teachers and coaches; “staff” refers to an employee of a K-12 school or K-12 school system.
